Michelle Stemper enters her fourth year as NVU-Johnson's assistant athletic trainer. In addition to managing day-to-day athletic training duties, Stemper coordinates the strength and conditioning programming for the department’s 15 varsity teams.
Stemper comes to Johnson State from St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minn., where she spent a year working with the University’s basketball and soccer teams. Prior to her work with the Johnnies, Stemper was a basketball student-athlete at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and earned her Master’s degree in athletic training from the College of St. Scholastica, where she worked with the Saints' baseball and football teams, as well as local high schools.
Her primary sports at Johnson include Men’s & Women’s Soccer, Men’s Golf, Women’s Basketball, Softball and Men’s Tennis.
