Bill Boldwin enters his fifth year as the head coach for the Johnson State College men's golf program. Boldwin joined the JSC men's golf team in 2011 as the Assistant Coach to Head Coach Lou Jarvis. Coach Jarvis, voted 2011 NAC Coach of the Year by his peers, passed away on September 30th thrusting Coach Boldwin into the interim Head Coach's role. Boldwin not only served as the backbone for the program in a tough time but also led the team to a sixth place finish in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championships in October during the 2013-2014 season. In 2016, Boldwin led the Badgers to a sixth place finish in the NAC Championshipand coached Austin Walters to the 2016 NAC Rookie of the Year award.
Prior to Johnson, Boldwin accumulated years of golf instruction experience as well as numerous seasons of coaching experiences in a variety of sports at several different levels.
Boldwin, a retired self-employed electrical contractor, now works at Catamount Golf Club in Williston as an instructor and Pro Shop Manager as well assisting with leagues and tournaments at Essex Country Club in Essex. Coach Boldwin is also a veteran of the United States Navy.
