The Badgers concluded the two-day Castleton Invitational Sunday afternoon, taking fifth place with season best finishes from Aidance Cheromiah (day two: 82) and Aidan Briggs (day one: 83) leading the Badgers.
SUMMARY
Johnson kicked off the two day tournament Saturday morning, with Briggs shooting a collegiate career best of 83 to lead the way for the Badgers. With three birdies, Briggs opened strong with a front 40, closely followed by Jack Senecal's 42. Day one's action saw Adiance Cheromiah contribute two birdies of his own, landing him and Senecal close behind Briggs, with a pair of 85s on the day. Darone Frierson rounded out the team score with a 111.
Senecal and Cheromiah would lead the front nine on day two, shooting 40 and 41, respectively, with Senecal scoring a birdie on hole four. Cheromiah showed consistency throughout the day, notching 41s out and back to lead the Badgers with an 82, followed closely by Senecal with an 83. Briggs and Frierson closed the day with 94 and 116, respectively.
