The VTSU Johnson men's golf team concluded their 2025 season with an 8^th place team finish at the North Atlantic Conference Championships.

SUMMARY

The Badgers took to the course this weekend for the two-day NAC Championship event, hosted by SUNY Cobleskill in Cobleskill, NY. Johnson worked two rounds of tournament play with consistent efforts from this season's top two golfers, Adiance Cheromiah and Jack Senecal. Cheromiah followed Saturday's opening-round 80 with an 83 (+13) Sunday afternoon, finishing with a two-day total of 163 (+23). Jack Senecal matched Cheromiah's opening-round 80, then carded an 85 (+15) on Sunday for a total of 165.

Cheromiah's second round featured a steady front nine 40, including birdies on the par-5 6th and the par-3 8th, following with a 43 on the back. Senecal posted a 41 on the front and 44 on the back, highlighted by a birdie on the par-4 1st and consistent play throughout.

Aidan Briggs improved significantly in the second round, shaving 11 strokes off his opening round with a 102 (+32), with Darone Frierson posting a 107 (+37) to close out the tournament.
