BANNER

The Badgers close the weekend with a commanding 5–1 victory at Lyndon, led by multi-score performances from Oakley Francis and Logan Ingalls.

SUMMARY

Johnson controlled the match from the onset Sunday afternoon, defeating the Lyndon Hornets 5–1 on the road. The Badgers struck immediately, as Josiah Phillips found the back of the net just 22 seconds into the game, assisted by Logan Ingalls. The Badgers maintained pressure and doubled their lead in the 24th minute when Francis netted his first of two goals, again set up by Ingalls.

Lyndon responded briefly in the 28th minute with a penalty kick goal, but it would be their only shot and goal of the match. Johnson's defense and midfield dominated possession, and goalkeeper Lucas Gehring remained largely untested throughout.

In the second half, the Badgers extended their lead with an unassisted goal from Ingalls in the 78th minute. Jeabets Kasongo added his first conference goal of the season in the 86th minute, assisted by Francis, and Francis capped off the scoring with his second goal in the 89th minute, assisted by Fabrice Kerozene.
