Mekenzie Wilson of Boyd, TX has committed to continuing her softball career as a Johnson Badger for the 2024-2025 season. The pitcher/outfielder most recently represented the Yellowjackets at Boyd High School where her commanding presence led the team to a 26-10 record, culminating in a playoff series win. Wilson's senior year campaign was unmatched on the mound, where she posted a perfect 4-0 record with an impressive 2.14 ERA, limiting her opposition to a .200 OBA. A welcome addition to a strong Badgers rotation. Wilson's dominance on the field was recognized as she was named Pitcher of the Year, 2nd Team All-District Outfield, and Honorable Mention at 2nd Base.
