The Women's Tennis team opened their season with an away match against University of New England. With several game wins, the Badgers ultimately fell to the Nor'easters 7-0.
SUMMARY
The Johnson Badgers took to the court with two new doubles pairs, as Kali Wooster and Caitlyn Morey represented Johnson's first duo, with Kristie Zator and Kamryn Devero locking in for the second. While the new pairings found their rhythm together, the Nor'easters claimed both doubles matchups to head into singles matchups up 1-0.
As the singles matches commenced, Wooster and Morey advance from their respective positions from last year, with Wooster tackling court #1 and Morey #2. Both secured game wins in their first sets, respectively, as Morey added an additional game to her second set. In her first collegiate tennis match, Zator moved smoothly in securing three games total; two in her first set and one in the second. Devero returned to the singles court claiming two games of her own, though the Badgers would ultimately fall 7-0.
