Badgers Tennis wrapped their weekend play with an away doubleheader loss to University of Maine at Augusta, 7-0 and 6-1.

Johnson returned to the court a short 24 hours following their win at Lyndon for a doubleheader at University of Maine at Augusta

Match #1:

Kali Wooster and Caitlyn Morey took to court one with Kristie Zator and Jaylah Jones taking court two in the doubles round. Wooster and Morey snagged a game win but Johnson would lose the doubles point with scores of 6-1 and 6-0.

Onto the singles matchups, Zator and Wooster would combine for seven game wins (Wooster with 6-2, 6-1, Zator with 6-1, 6-3), while Augusta captured the six singles wins, taking the match 7-0.

Match #2:

Kali Wooster and Caitlyn Morey returned to action and battled to a tiebreaker in their doubles play, though falling 7-6 (8-6). Zator and Jones followed suit with a battle of their own, dropping their doubles match in a hard-fought 6-4 loss.

Zator shined on court three in her singles match, securing a win for the Badgers with a 6-0, 6-4 two-set win. Wooster came close to providing the Badgers with a second win on court one, narrowly missing out on both sets in a thrilling 7-5, 6-4 loss to Augusta's #1.
