SUMMARY

Johnson dominated the pitch Sunday afternoon, defeating the Lyndon Hornets 14-0, on the road. The Badgers struck early as Moriah Stefanik put Johnson on the board first, with a goal at 1:53, assisted by fellow first-year teammate, Anna Fairweather. Johnson capitalized on the early momentum moments later, as Stefanik assisted the first of two Olivia Davis goals to put the Badgers up 2-0 at 5:36. As the game clock struck 20:00, the Badgers had extended their lead to 5-0 with goals by Peyton Fairchild and Ida Eames, rounded out by Stefanik's second of the game. The Badgers continued pace through the duration of the opening half, building an 11-0 lead by halftime with goals by Stefanik (2), O. Davis (2), Fairchild (1), Eames (1), Jenna Jones (3), Catherine Plant (1), and Maddie Power (1).

First-year, Sadie Baranyay, applied pressure early in the Johnson's return to the pitch, recording Johnson's first goal of the second half, her first of the season, within the first five minutes of play. While Johnson subdued their pacing, Elizabeth Love and Isabel Atkisson would secure the final two goals for the Badgers before the clock struck zero, finalizing the game at 14-0 for Johnson.
